Teacher Appreciation Week is typically held on a Monday through Friday during the first or second week of May. Whether you purchase something or go the homemade route, Young Living products will help you give the perfect gift to say thank you to the teachers making a difference in your life.
Perfectly Prepared
These gifts are all ready to go. Just add a card with a thoughtful note and you're ready to rock.
Bath Bombs: Bath bombs are the perfect pairing with a warm bath for pure relaxation. Choose from Lavender or Stress Away.
Stress Away Roll-on: It does just what it says. This miracle in a bottle can be easily applied to wrists or back of neck to help ease tension and promote relaxation.
Pedicure Set: Everything you need to pamper your feet in one perfect kit. Kit includes socks, a pumice stone, 5ml Peppermint essential oil, 5ml Stress Away essential oil blend, and a do-it-yourself pedicure instruction card.
Handmade Awesomeness
These gifts are incredibly thoughtful and super easy to make. You can dress up the packaging with ribbons, tags or labels. Make sure to include the name of your handmade gift, the ingredients used, on instructions on how to use.
Sugar Scrubs: Sugar scrubs are great to help soften and nourish the skin. My favorite recipe is for a Lemon Sugar Scrub that uses a white sugar and lemon essential oil, but there are many variations that use brown sugar or other oils. Another bonus is a batch usually makes quite a bit, so you can divvy up one batch to give to 3-4 people. Here's the recipe:
Lemon Sugar Scrub
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
10 drops Lemon essential oil
Mix all ingredients together. Add more olive oil if you think it is too dry or add more sugar if you think it is too wet until you achieve the desired consistency. Store in a glass jar.
Usage instructions: Moisten skin and gently massage sugar scrub into skin. Rinse thoroughly. Use on face, arms, and/or legs.
Room Spray: Many essential oils have a positive effect on mood. Whether it's used in the classroom or at home, a room spray can help brighten any room.
Room Spray Recipe
1 oz witch hazel
1 oz distilled water
10 drops essential oil such as Lemon, Grapefruit, Lavender or Purification blend (you can also make your own combo)
Mix all ingredients together. Add to a 2oz spray bottle.
Usage instructions: Spray 2-3 times in desired space. Shake well before using.
Rollerballs: Rollerballs are perfect for enjoying essential oils on the go. Create your own special concoction for your gift.
